Yes, I Ask Questions (and Occasionally Raise an Eyebrow)
I’m not the kind of therapist who sits silently, nodding sagely while you talk yourself into confusion. Don’t get me wrong, silence has its place. Sometimes a pause is powerful, it gives us both space to breathe, to reflect, to feel. But therapy with me isn’t a guessing game. I’ll ask the questions that help you dig a little deeper, connect the dots, and get the most out of our time together.
Therapy isn’t meant to be comfortable all the time, but it is meant to be collaborative. You bring your story, I will bring curiosity, compassion, and (occasionally) a well-timed eyebrow raise. Together, we explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we sit in stillness, and sometimes we gently challenge the patterns that keep you stuck.
I believe therapy works best when it feels human, two people figuring things out together. I’m not above you, I’m alongside you.
Just so that you know, I won’t just sit there and say, “How does that make you feel?” on repeat. But I will help you find the answers that already live inside you, with warmth, honesty, and the odd dash of humour.
🌼 Therapy isn’t silence. It’s connection.
